It consists of four sub-programmes: Comenius (for schools), Erasmus (for higher education), Leonardo da Vinci (for vocational education and training) and Grundtvig (for adult education).

7 steps to applying for EU funding for your SSPLS course.
- Choose the course you want to do.
- Contact Suzanne Sparrow Plymouth Language School to check availability study@sparrow.co.uk
- Contact your National Agency for a Comenius Application Form.
- Apply to your National Agency for a grant for the course.
- Register with SSPLS and send a copy of your completed Comenius Application Form to SSPLS.
- Contact SSPLS when your application for funding has been approved or not approved.
- Confirm arrival date with SSPLS.
