Teaching & Resources

The teaching staff consists of qualified teachers, many of whom have considerable knowledge of teaching English as a foreign language both in the UK and abroad. The Director of Studies structures the courses and supervises the teaching programme. On the first day of the course each student is given a placement test (or taken on-line before arrival) to determine their level. During the course student progress is monitored and tutorial sessions are held for long-term students.

The school is a centre for Cambridge Examinations (Cambridge First Certificate, Cambridge Avanced and Proficiency), TOEIC (Reading & Listening) and Trinity Graded Examination in Speaking.

Materials

We try to select interesting, stimulating and challenging materials for all our courses to help students to practise and improve their English as efficiently as possible. Students are given a folder to keep their work organised and encourage them to develop good learning skills.
