School Group Programme

The School Group Programme focuses on helping students grow in confidence in their use of English by providing them with the opportunity to practise and improve their listening and speaking in small classes in the morning. By the end of a week students should feel much more comfortable using English to communicate and will have developed their language skills and increased their knowledge of the English language.

Afternoon visits and activities are organised to offer students an interesting cultural experience combined with the chance to have some fun in an English speaking environment. Most of these are based locally and usually last a few hours before students return to their homestay, where they can continue to put what they have learnt during the day into practise with their hosts. Activities are accompanied by school representatives, who will be on hand to offer any help or answer any questions students have.

  • Maximum class size 12.
  • Sunday evening arrival in Plymouth.
  • All groups are met by a school representative and homestay providers.
  • Afternoon lessons available on request.

A large number of schools from France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria and Switzerland have returned to our school over the years.
